And I ended up using Bharat and Dorris loose powder.

Application Method :

You can use puff or powder brush to apply. You can use it to set all the cream makeup to set it or jus apply on Regions which tends to get oily easily.

My Take on The Bharat And Dorris Loose Powder :

The Bharat and Dorris loose powder comes in a transparent plastic tub with black screw cap.

The powder comes with a powder puff for application.  Another lid is there with few holes that helps to take minimal amount of productfor application without being wasted. This package is spill proof thus its travel friendly.

This loose powder is silky and light weight.  It has no fragrance which is another best thing about it. This powder sets all the cream makeup, foundation and concealer. It is formulated to prevent concealer from getting creased. It can also stand alone on the top of the moisturiser. I usually prefer applying in my under eye region where I use concealer and on my t – zones which tends to get oily easily.

This powder is soft and easily blendable.  It gives a very soft matte look absorbing all the excess sebum. For daily look I use puff for application.

It doesn’t gives any coverage, actually its not meant for it. So tis not a matter of concern.

The Powder sets the makeup perfectly.  It stays for good 4 to 5 hours. And after that I need a touch up. It quickly absorbs the excess oil and it suits me perfect. It doesn’t irrritate or turns itchy on my skin.

Even if you have dry skin it won’t make you look ashy.

I use shade No – 5. According to me the shades are quite misleading. No 1 is translucent, 3 and 4 are meant for pale skin tone,  No-5 is little dark,  No – 6 is dusky but No – 7 is lighter tha No 5 and 6. So I would suggest you to shop it frm store after swatch test.

Overall, its a good loose powder and affordable.

Pro’s Of Bharat And Dorris Loose  Powder :

  • Good package and travel friendly.
  • 7 shades suitable for Indian skin tone.
  • Affordable.
  • Absorbs excess sebum and gives matte look.
  • Instantly brightens.
  • Keeps makeup in its place for long.

Con’s Of Bharat And Dorris Loose  Powder :

  • Misleading shade no’s.
  • Not easily available.
  • Powder puff is hardly useful.

My Verdict :

Good budget friendly loose powder which absorbs all the excess facial oil and gives a matte look. It blends well  keeping all the cream makeup in its place and prevents it from creasing. Its one of the best loose powder. And I would suggest you to definitely give a try.
